We rent out two houses which are situated next to each other. Number 40 is equipped for up to 8 people, number 42 for 6 people. Spacious garden, terrace and parking on the premises. The houses can be rented separately or together. Given the short distance (200 meters) to sea and beach the houses are ideal for young families, elderly people or families who go on holiday together but still want to stay on their own.

Pets are allowed, after delibertion and compensation.

Our two houses are located in the town Vrouwenpolder on the island Walcheren in the province Zeeland. In between the North Sea Beach and the Veersemeer. The distance to both the North Sea beach and to the Veerse meer is only 200 meters. The Veersemeer and the North Sea are separated by a dam, built in 1961, as part of the former Delta Plan, to protect the Dutch coast against flooding.

Vrouwenpolder is located on the Walcheren side of the flood barrier Neeltje Jans, which runs from Kamperland on the island of North Beveland to Haamstede on the island Schouwen Duiveland, and is easily accessible by state and provincial roads.

The village Vrouwenpolder is located directly behind the dunes of more than 5 kilometers long, and has a very wide sandy beach that can be used for many sports. The beach is accessible by paved paths (no stairs). On the beach there are wooden walkways, showers and toilets. In the season lifeguards are present. The cities Goes, Middelburg, Vlissingen, Veere and Domburg can be reached within 15 minutes. In the village there are a supermarket and several shops and restaurants.

Our houses are next to each other, detached, with no immediate neighbours, outside the urban area, on Fort den Haakweg, which runs from the centre of the village to the beach. The walking distance to the beach is about 3 minutes. The distance to the village is about 1 km.

Numer 40 is equipped for up to 8 persons (4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and 1 with bunk bed). Number 42 for 6 guests (3 bedrooms and an addiotional bunkbed in the hallway). Both houses have 2 bathrooms. The kitchens have a dishwasher, oven, microwave, Senseo coffee machine and refrigerator with freezer. Washer and dryer are also present. The lounge /dining rooms have TV (cable) and audio equipment. Wireless Internet access is present.

Around the houses there are terraces and a fenced off lawn with playground. A small orchard provides you with the harvest of apples, pears, plums and blackberries. Parasols and garden furniture are available.

There is more than ample on-site parking available. Our houses are qualified by the Tourist  Club Zeeland with 4-stars ****. Rental of homes done by the owner himself.
