Gamerules.
Hiring is trust. We trust that you handle our properties with care, and leave our home as you find it.

Garbage Garbage should be separately collected in the waste container (front part for organic waste, rear part of the rest). For hygienic reasons we ask you to throw waste in plastic bags in the waste container. The containers are emptied every Monday morning. Please set the dumpster on Monday along  the street and put it back behind the house after it has been emptied. Bottles should be brought to the village in the containers provided. Cardboard can be brought to the dumpster behind the tennis club. If your bin becomes full, please put your garbage in plastic bags and put them next to the green watebin on Monday morning

Keys. Keys are found in a lockbox next to the frontdoor of the house. The code of the box will be send to you after payment of the complete rentsum. Linen is managed by the reception of the Hotel Duinoord, at the end of the Fort den Haakweg, just past our house in Vrouwenpolder. Tel 0031 118 591 346. Linen should be collected and returned to Hotel Duinoord. As a general rule you arrive on Saturday after 16:00 and depart before 10:00 am Saturday morning, so that the house can be prepared for the next guests. Should you arrive  later than 20:00 h on the day of arrival , please report it by telephone to hotel Duinoord.

Rental agreement. Under the button Contact you find our e-mail address to respond or make a reservation. If you want to book just send us an e-mail and you will receive a simple rental agreement, which has to be filled out and returned in one of the following ways:

After payment of 50% of the rent, the reservation is final and you will receive a signed lease in return. The remaining 50%, and the additional costs for taxes, cleaning and rent for linen rent any should b paid in the month before your rental period begins.  We will gladly give you a free option for up to 1week.

The rent rental amount is listed under the button PRICES and includes gas, electricity and water, but excludes the mandatory cleaning, rent for bed linen and tourist tax .

In case of a cancellation one should submitt a claim on their own cancellation / travel insurance.

The additional costs are bed linen (EUR 10, – per bed),  cleaning costs (EUR 75, – per stay), and tourist tax (EUR 1.25 per person per night) A towel set (towel, and bath towel) can be rented for EUR 5, – per package. Please indicate on the lease. Tea towels and dishcloths, you take yourself. We have the right to ask for a bail which will be paid back after an OK end inspection.

Pets. Pets can be allowed after consultation with lessor and at extra expense of EUR 5 per day per pet.

Wood stove. In house No. 40 ,in the living room, is a wood stove  which can be fired with wood that is under the roof behind the barn. Starting the fire is simple with paper or paperboard. After lighting do not close the door fully  promote the draft. Once the heater is burning the door can be closed.

Phone Numbers. A list of important phone numbers is available in the house.

Equipment.  All equipment is available for use. Please read and follow the instructions to ensure proper operation. Report faults please immediately (06 515 77 484)

Damage. We would appreciate it if you notify us before leaving if objects are damaged or broken due to wear or cause. In consultation can then be determined what should be done.

Trampolines. For the children there are trampolines and playground equipment. Parents are responsible for their children and should monitor the use of these devices.

Bikes for children are available for use in the garden for a quick ride to the village. For longer bike rides we advise you to hire  a bike in the village. We ask you to fix necessary repairs yourselves and to notify us. We are not liable for damage caused by the use of bicycles and / or playground equipment.

Electric or hybrid cars. The electrical installation in our homes is not suitable for charging your electric or hybrid powered car. Use as such leads to overloading, failure of the power supply and causes damage for which you are held liable. Under the ROUTE head of this website you will find the available charging stations in the vicinity of our house.

Information. We keep our website as well as possible up-to-date. We are not liable for errors or inaccuracies in this website or linked to other websites.
